Benjamin was a sea capatain trading to the West Indies. In 1801 he was appointed by Jefferson a custom’s house officer at New Haven and served until his death.6

David served on the frigate Trumbull in 1777. He was Lieut. of the Conferacy when it was captured. He commanded the sloop Rebach with six guns and 36 men.6
