In 1768 James was living in Canterbury, but moved to Chichester where he died. Hes wife Phebe was apointed administratrix 20 Apr 1777, and Thomas Hunneford and Nathaniel Pease of Newmarket were her sureties.199
Ca 1754 James married Phebe Pease, daughter of Nathaniel Pease (ca 1690/1-20 Oct 1748) & Phebe Sanborn (6 Feb 1705/6-aft 1759).199 Born on 21 Dec 1735 in Newmarket, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Phebe died aft Apr 1777.
