Hannah is likely to have been the daughter of Edward Wanton of Scituate who names a daughter Hannah Barker in his will.16
On 1 Apr 1697 when Hannah was 19, she married Robert Barker (24496) , son of Isaac Barker (9476) (ca 1642-1710) & Judith Prence (ca 1645-), in Scituate, MA.110 “Robert Barker and Hannah his wife of Sittuate were Married the first day of Aprill—1697”. Born in 1673 in Duxbury, MA.290 Robert died on 6 Sep 1765.290 Occupation: farmer and blacksmith.

From Dean’s History of Scituate:53
    Michael settled on the paternal estate in Scituate. ... He succeeded his father as the religious teacher of the Society of Friends, and was a successful propagator of the sect. He was a cotemporary with Rev. Nathaniel Eells of the South Parish in Scituate, and they are said to have lived in more harmony with each other than could be expected form the circumstances, Wanton being fired with the zeal of a new sect, and Eells entertaining contempt for an uneducated ministry. He is said to have been a man of so much meekness and gentleness, that all contention with the Congregationalists was laid aside; a circumstance which, if it did not contriubte to promote his sect, at least disarmed opposition and persecution.
