Ca 1733 Nathaniel first married Sarah Coomer. Born on 28 Feb 1713 in Plympton, MA. Sarah died on 14 Apr 1753; she was 40.

On 23 Aug 1753 when Nathaniel was 41, he second married Temperance Damon (37530) , daughter of John Damon (18256) (Jun 1684-27 Apr 1742) & Temperance Nye (7 Apr 1689-1768), in Plympton, MA. Born on 19 Mar 1718 in Scituate, MA.52 At the age of 2, Temperance was baptized in First Parish Church of Scituate, on 23 Oct 1720.52
