On 16 Jan 1775 when Lois was 22, she married Oliver Doolittle (52823) , son of Daniel Doolittle (36023) (3 Feb 1707-Sep 1791) & Elizabeth Dayton (38215) (25 Sep 1711-bef Nov 1775), in Wallingford, CT.90 Born on 14 Oct 1742 in Wallingford, CT.90 Oliver died in Wallingford, CT, on 11 Mar 1833; he was 90.55 Buried in Center Street Cemetery, Wallingford.

Oliver and Lois settled on the west side of the river in Wallingford near the old Doolittle Bridge. The name of Oliver Doolittle appears in the list of grantees at Georgia, NH, 1 Aug 1763.358

Oliver served in Capt. Charles Norton’s Co. which marched to RI, 23 Aug 1778; and was in Capt. Stanley’s Co. which marched to New Haven 5 Jul 1779 at the time of Tryon’s Invasion.6
