On 18 Jul 1752 when Hannah was 21, she married Joshua Phelps (21827) , son of Lieut. Samuel Phelps (8101) (29 Jan 1675-bef 1749) & Abigail Eno (1 Mar 1686/7-25 Dec 1749).116 Born on 13 Oct 1729 in Windsor, CT.115 Joshua died in Harwinton, CT, on 2 Dec 1796; he was 67.116

    (#189) Joshua Phelps, b. Windsor, Ct., 13 Oct., 1729, m. 18 July, 1752, Hannah Birge, (daughter of Jeremiah and Mary (Griswold) Birge), b. Windsor, Ct., 18 Mar., 1731, d. Litchfield, Ct., 19 Feb., 1818, nearly 87 years. Mr. Birge settled in Litchfield, Ct., and Harwinton, where he died Dec. 2, 1796. Their grave-stones may be seen in the old Burlington grave-yard. Says Farmington Church Record “he owned covenant 29 Apr., 1753.”
