On 13 Jun 1782 when Lemuel was 23, he first married Anna Toozer in Northboro, MA. Born on 30 Aug 1760 in Massachusetts.225 Anna died in 1789.225
The Lemuel Monroe who was recorded in the 1850 census at Vienna, Oneida Co., NY, may have been the son of Lemuel and Anna (Toozer) Monroe.225
Ca 1789 Lemuel second married Anna Potter. Anna died in 1812.225
