An Elizabeth Damon married an Edmund Nichols 21 Nov 1769 at Reading,81 and this may have been the Elizabeth Damon, but it could not have been the Edmund Nichols b. 12 Jul 1741, son of Ebenezer and Susanna (Monroe) Nichols, since he died 6 Aug 1741.81 Perhaps Ebenezer and Susanna had a third Edmund (the first born 1727 also died young) whose birth was not recorded, or perhaps it was some other Edmund.
