John was probably in the Rovolution May 6 to Dec 20 1775, being at the siege of Boston under Capt. Benedict Arnold.358

John served in Capt. Benedict Arnold’s Co., 1st Regt., at the siege of Boston, 1775; was a member of Capt. Abraham Stanley’s Co. which marched to New Haven at the time of Tryon’s Invasion, 5 Jul 1779, and to Fairfield, 8 July 1779.6
