On 15 Jan 1772 when Experience was 22, she married Bennett Cook (45658) , son of John Cook (35204) (ca 1713-1777) & Martha Wood (26651) (13 Apr 1712-bef 1774), in Dartmouth, MA. Born on 4 Apr 1749 in Tiverton, RI.374 Bennett died in Berne, Albany County, New York, on 14 Dec 1801; he was 52.

According to pension application, (principal source of these data), he married Anne Almy at Schagticoke NY, 17 May, 1780; served in the Fev. as Lt. Listed at Cambridge, Washington Co., NY, 1790 Cs, (2-1-5). Moving to Granby, Oswego Co., NY, he d. there 26 Aug 1820. The pensions file included the fam. rec. of chn., ‘all but David & Mary living’ (in 1840); his bro. Joh, ‘aged 77’, supported the widow’s claim. Nine chn.:
1. Obadiah, b. 31 Dec 1780.
2. Sarah, b. 3 Sept. 1782.
3. Priscilla, b. 19 Apr. 1784.
4. Lydia, b. 17 Feb. `1788’ (sic; perh. shd. be 1786?); ‘m. Wm. Bartholomew’.

7. Phebe, b. 4 Nov 1793.
