On 31 Dec 1818 when Sally was 34, she married Joseph Butters (61154) , son of Joseph Butters (51293) (23 May 1758-bef May 1793) & Lydia Carter (51253) (21 Sep 1755-12 May 1849).209 Born on 7 Dec 1786 in Wilmington, MA.399 Joseph died in Burlington, MA, on 31 Aug 1839; he was 52. Buried in Second Parish Burial Ground, Burlington. Occupation: Yeoman.

From the Butters Family:209
    Joseph bought the Kendall farm, comprising seventy acres, located ih Burlington, about a quarter of a mile from the center of that town, and two miles from the Wilmington line, being on the main road from Boston to Lowell. He removed the old buildings and built the house and barn as shown on the illustration on opposite page. Four generations have lived in this house at one time. He had passed away before this incident occurred; it included his mother (who lived to be 93 years old), her son Samuel, grandson Charles and his sons, Charles S. and George W., the great grandchildren.

Betsey married Alfred Carter (61182) , son of Jonathan Carter (51263) (2 Nov 1763-16 Mar 1829) & Mary Eames (21 Aug 1757-5 Apr 1812). Born on 8 Dec 1788 in Wilmington, MA.399 Alford, son of Jonathan Carter Jr & Mary. Alfred died in Wilmington, MA, on 20 Dec 1860; he was 72.
