Also mentions grandson William Earl under 21, son of deceased son Thomas Earl, and granddaugher Meribah Earl under 21, daugher of deceased son Thomas Earl; granddaughter Sarah Borden, daughter of Nathan and Phebe Borden of Tiverton; granddaughter Mary Dennis, daughter of Elisha and Ruth Brown; grandson William Earl Cook, son of George and Sarah Cook of Portsmouth. Witnesses: Parigreen White, Abigail White, Potter Cook. The codicil mentions her then husband John Perry.

(It’s been suggested that John’s parents were John and Elizabeth (Dwelley) Perry who married 13 Jul 1730 in Tiverton. Is there any evidence to verify this educated guess? Incidentally, that John was not born on 9 Oct 1773 at Tiverton; the date 9 Oct 1773 is when John Perry, son of John and Elizabeth (Gachet) Perry was born in Swansea.)

Will of John Perry of Tiverton, yeoman, dated May 1806, proved 7 Feb 1814 mentions wife Sarah Perry who recd all property she brought with her at her marriage; daughters Deborah Negus wife of Isaac Negus, Anna Cook wife of Joseph Cook, and Mary Cook wife of Thomas Cook. Witnesses Thomas Durfee, Elijah Norton, and William Norton.248
