Sarah married John D. Estes, son of Daniel L. Estes (ca 1811-) & Soprona (ca 1813-). Born in Jun 1839 in New York. John D. died in Pompey, Onondaga County, New York in May 1905. Buried on 30 May 1905 in Manlius Vilage Cemetery. Occupation: Farmer.

Lifelong in Michigan, John R. Scoville Dies
    John R. Scoville, 76, lifelong resident of Michigan and a Saginaw resident 27 years, died Sunday at his home, 600 Carroll street, after a long illness. He was born Jan. 17, 1858 [year must be incorrect since he was 5 in 1860], in St. Clair county, and was married Feb.5 1889, in Genesee county, to Miss Lydia Garries. Mr. Scoville came to Saginaw with his family in 1907 and had been employed as night watchman at the Mershon plant.
    Mr. Scoville is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Manchester and Mrs. Ebeen Blane of Saginaw; a son, Harry R. Scoville of Saginaw; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Smith of New Lothrop and Mrs. Ella Morris of Carrollton; a brother, Charles H. Scoville of Fenton; and ten grandchildren.
    Funeral services will take place at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at Montrose Free Methodist church and buiral will be in Montrose. Friends may see Mr. Scoville at his home until noon Tuesday.
