Death Notice: Burdette Norman Monroe, born 11 Jun 1916, died 26 July 1996 in Niles, Berrien County, Michigan.

Obituary: Burdette Norman Monroe, 80, of Missions East, Niles, Mich., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Friday, July 26, at 3:45 p.m. in Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, Mich.
Burdette retired from the Bendix Corp. On Feb. 25, 1940, in Shirley, Ind., he married Kathryn Rosemary Youngs, who passed away in 1982. On April 21, 1984, in South Bend, he married Marguerite Snyder, who survives Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Lynn Ballenger of Osceola, Ind.; three stepsons, Robert Hutchinson of Otterbein, Ind., John David Hutchinson of Coldwater, Mich., and J. Scott Hutchinson of Houston, Texas; a stepdaughter, Pamela Sue Kasprzak of South Bend, Ind.; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. (EST) Monday, July 29, 1996, at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, Ind. Friends will be received from noon (EST) Monday until the time of service.
Burdette was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of South Bend, to which the family requests memorial contributions be made in Burdette's memory."
