Sadie and J.M. Hill lived two blocks south of Main Street in Ferdinand, Idaho County, Idaho. They lived in a rural area. Both were 55 years old. Sadie was born in Michigan and Joe in Idaho. He completed the sixth grade and she the eighth. Their sons were Lloyd aged 22, and Joe D. aged 18. Both had graduated from high school, were born in Idaho, and worked as farm laborers.

On 28 Oct 1907 when Sarah Elizabeth was 20, she married Joseph Matthew Hill, son of William James Hill (12 Jul 1840-Nov 1910) & Mary Jane Kearney (8 Nov 1858-15 Aug 1946), in Lewiston, Nez Perce County, Idaho. Born on 15 Apr 1882 in Idaho. Joseph Matthew died in Grangeville, Idaho County, Idaho in Jun 1970. Buried in Denver Cemetery.
