Ca 1926 Ethel first married Joseph Calvin Skelton, son of Henry Clay Skelton (23 May 1854-20 Mar 1904) & Mary Ladona Kelley (18 Sep 1864-20 Mar 1943). Born on 30 Dec 1890 in Cassville, Barry County, Missouri. Joseph Calvin died in Lemhi, Lemhi County, Idaho, on 7 Aug 1935; he was 44. Buried in Lookout Cemetery.
