Obituary CADY
Barbara Jane Cady, age 92, widow of Loren V. Cady, passed away February 6th 2011. She is survived by her children, Thomas, Richard, (JoAnn), Terrence (Roslynn), Joyce Bonifield (Charlie), Kenneth (David Tan), Kathleen Jackson (Thomas) and Margaret Cady; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews. Barbara was born and raised in Grand Rapids and attended Catholic Central HS. Barbara worked numerous jobs but her main thrust in life was the love and care of her family. She was selfless in her devotion to them. Barbara was a devout Catholic, particularly proud of her Madonna collection and was active in IHM and St. Paul's parishes. Barbara was always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand to her countless friends. Barbara was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara; sister, Mary Patterson; and beloved dog, Coco. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Zaagman Memorial Chapel and the funeral liturgy will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church.
