    Joyce (Sparta) — Mrs. Lula M. Tennant Joyce, aged 68, went home to be her Lord, Tuesday evening, February 4, 1997 at Home of Hope. She was a member of Sparta Baptist Church and the Sparta Senior Citizens Group. Preceeding her in death were her husbands, Charles Tennant on April 6, 1990 and Robert Joyce on August 18, 1991. Surviving are her children, Charles A. and Tric Tennant of Belmont, James L. and Mari Tennant of Rockford, and Bruce E. Tennant and Louella and John Huey all of Grand Rapids; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Leonard (Mary) Gallup of Sparta; a sister Lenne (Lester) Gear) of Claifornia; nieces and nephews. The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving to God for the life of Mrs. Joyce will be Saturday afternoon at 2 PM at Sparta Baptist Church with Pastor James Lacy officiating.
