5. Thomas Schirado. Born on 8 Mar 1851 in Klek, Banat. Thomas died in Glen Ullin, Morton County, ND, on 25 Sep 1931; he was 80. Buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Glen Ullin.

Helen's notes say that Thomas came from Klek in 1899. Lived in Glen Ullin but farmed two miles out of town. Other notes say Klek was in Romania and they arrived in 1898.

His farm was 11 quarters plus 80 acres.

Klek in Banat County, Hungary, near the Demaswar River where the family watered their animals. Book says they arrived in 1899. Glen Ullin Yesteryears 1883 -1983.

In 1930 Tom was living with his son John’s family.

In 1875 Thomas married Eva Schwartz (17) , daughter of Peter Schwartz (8) (9 May 1832-5 Sep 1902) & Barbara Wambach (28 May 1836-29 Oct 1915). Born on 14 Sep 1854 in Klek, Banat. Eva died in Glen Ullin, Morton County, ND, on 21 Feb 1916; she was 61. Buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Glen Ullin.

Ava and her children arrived in Baltimore, MD from Klek on September 1, 1898 on the North German Lloyd ship Willehad. She was headed to her brother-in-laws, Josef Duppong, in Hebron, North Dakota.3

He arrived with his mother and siblings in Baltimore, Maryland on September 1, 1898 on the North German Lloyd ship Willehad. He was headed to his relative, Josef Duppong, in Hebron, ND.3

Lived with his brother Anton in Classen Township, Morton County during census of Februry, 1920.

Emigrated in 1898 and naturalized in 1904.
