GLEN ULLIN, N.D. - Ray Filibeck, 86, Glen Ullin, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at a Bismarck Nursing Home.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Filibeck, Bismarck; one son, Rick Filibeck, Glen Ullin; two daughters, Charlotte Gunderson, Black Hawk, and Deb Huffman, Dickinson, N.D.; three sisters, Margaret Geck and Josie Schirado, both of Glen Ullin, and Darlene Tibor, Hebron, N.D.; one brother, Robert Filibeck, Richardson, Texas; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. CST, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. CST today and one hour before services Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin. Services will be at 10 a.m. CST Tuesday, at the church, with the Rev. Sebastian Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Richard and Josephine were married in a double ceremony 29 August, 1944 with his brother Raymond.

Richard Schirado, age 84, of Glen Ullin, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Marian Manor Health Care Center in Glen Ullin. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Central time on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glen Ullin with the Rev. Sebastian Schmidt, as celebrant. Visitation will begin on Thursday, after 4:00 pm at the church with the Vigil services at 7:00 PM. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Richard was born July 30, 1922 on the family farm 14 miles northeast of Glen Ullin, the son of Anton and Katie (Rausch) Schirado. He was raised on the farm and educated at Union School. Richard married Josephine Filibeck August 29, 1944 at Sacred Heart in Glen Ullin. Following marriage they farmed for many years, some good some not so good. In 1978 they built a new home in Glen Ullin and moved into town in 1979 when Dick took over the farm. Richard operated a saw sharpening business and enjoyed woodworking and created many items. He was a board member for the Union School District for over 20 years and a charter member of the Glen Ullin Weighing Assn.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Josie, Glen Ullin; his children: Judy (Phil) Miller, Topeka, KS; Lila (James) Dixon, Colorado Springs, CO; SanDee (Howard) Wehri, Dick (Debbie) Schirado, all of Glen Ullin; Mischelle Schirado, Bismarck; Gaylen Schirado, Bonners Ferry, ID; and Carmen (Pat) Arthur of Vancouver, WA; 17 grandchildren and six and 7/9ths great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his two brothers: Mike (Gerry) and Thomas (Kathy), all of Glen Ullin; three sisters: Pearl Voegele, Mandan, ND; Gen Karlin, Cool, CA; and Lena Sorenson, Yuma, AZ.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Tony, Lester, and Harry; and two sisters; Katherine and Joan.
