bef 1312 Joan first married Nicholas de Percy, son of Arnold de Percy. Nicholas died on 6 Aug 1324 in Melane.4
“On 7 December 1321, Nicholas Percy and John Mautravers the younger, among ohters, were bieng pursued as rebels (Calendar of inquisitions miscellaneus [chancery[ preserved in the Publid Record Office, 3 vols. [16916-1937; in progress], 2:174, no. 702). On 6 august 1324, Nicholas was struck on the head with a stone so that his brain came out and he deid at Melane (ibid., 2:206, no. 825). In 1325 Michael Rosel was pardoned for the death of Nicholas, the son of Arnold Percy of Kildare (Cal. Pat. Rolls, Edward II, 5:201).”4
Joan second married John Maltravers, son of John Maltravers (ca 1235-Feb 1297) & Joan. Born ca 1266 in Lytchett Matravers, Dorset. John died in Jun 1341 in Lytchett Matravers, Dorset.
