Joan, of Kinderton, Cheshire. Thomas and Joan (Venables) Grosvenor had four sons:
i. Robert, b. abt. 1405; of Hulme, whose large properties were divided among his six daughters and coheirs;
ii. Ralph, ancestor of the Grosvenors of Eaton, this branch received a baronetcy in 1622, a barony in 1761, an earldom in 1784, and in the 20th century represented by the Duke of Westminster; and
iii. Thomas; and
iv. Randall, ancestor of the Grosvenors of co. Warwick.1
Joan married Sir Thomas Grosvenor, son of Sir Robert le Grosvenor (ca 1342-22 Apr 1396) & Joan de Pulford. Born in 1377.1 Thomas died in 1429.1
