Richard married Patience Bigge (839) , daughter of John Bigge (326) (ca 1560-13 Aug 1605) & Rachel Martin (17 Jun 1565-30 Jun 1647). Born ca 1588. Patience was baptized in Cranbrook, Kent, on 5 May 1588. Patience died in Dorchester, MA on 18 Mar 1637.
