“Alice, bp. at Ware 22 Dec. 1583; buried at Great Amwell 10 Oct. 1640; probably the Alice Heath who m. there 19 Sept. 1614, as his first wife, Nathaniel Larke of Amwell Street, Great Amwell, who was buried there 24 Feb. 1648/9, having survived his second wife, Annis , by only a few days. He was one of the overseers of the will of Thomas Johnson of Ware, dated 13 Aug.1639, proved 9 Feb.1640 (ERO, D/ABW 57/46).

893. Elder Isaac Heath. Born ca 1586 in Ware, Hertfordshire. Isaac was baptized in Ware, Hertfordshire, 13 Feb 1586/6.9 Isaac died in Roxbury, MA 21 Jan 1660/1.78

On 22 Dec. 1630, Isaac Heath witnessed the will of Agnes Porter, widow, of Ware (ERO, D/ABW 50/101), whose stepson, Edward Porter, and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Porter (later wife of Heath's nephew, Isaac Johnson of Roxbury, Mass.), immigrated to New England.9

Isaac Heath came to New England in 1635 on the ship Hopewell, aged 50, with his wife Elizabeth 40, one child 5, and a cousin, Martha Heath 30. Upon landing, he proceeded to Roxbury where William Heath was already settled. He was freeman 25 May 1636, represented the town in the General Court in 1637 and 1638. In 1637 he was chosen Ruling Elder of the Roxbury church, and held that position unfil his death. He was one of the founders of the Roxbury free school in 1645. His will, made two days before his death, names his niece Martha Brand, wife of George, Edward Morris, and mary Morey, as his kin, besides John, Elizabeth, and Mary, children of John Bowles who married his only child, Elizabeth, and he gave the larger portion to his son-in-law John Bowles.
14 Jan 1628/9 Isaac married Elizabeth Miller (923) , daughter of Thomas Miller (379) (ca 1561-May 1627) & Agnes (ca 1572-8 Aug 1643), in Ware, Hertfordshire.9 Born ca 1593 in Hertfordshire, England. Elizabeth was baptized in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, 3 Mar 1593/4.9 Elizabeth died in Roxbury, MA Jan 1664/5. Buried 14 Jan 1664/5 in Roxbury, MA.78

894. George Heath. Born ca 1588 in Hertfordshire, England. George was baptized in Ware, Hertfordshire, on 4 Aug 1588.9

Geroge was apparently named for his uncle, George Heath, who died the previous month. No further record.9
895. William Heath. Born perhaps 1590 in Ware, Hertfordshire. William died in Roxbury, MA on 29 Mar 1652.9

William came from London in the Lion, arriving 16 Sep 1632 with his wife Mary and five children. He was freeman 4 Mar 1633, representative at first assembly of deputies 14 May 1634, 7, 9 to 42, and in 45 for Dover.

Will: William's will was made May 28, 1652 and proved October 21, 1652 as
        follows:

        The last Will and Testamt of William Heath of Roxbury in manner and forme
        following.

        Item I give unto my loving wife during her natural life ye newe end of my
        house that I nowe dwell in both aboue and below and half the great barne
        and half the barne yeard togeither wth all my Cattell & moveable goods
        upon this Condition following first that she shall pay all my debts,
        secondly that she shall pay my daughter Mary Spere Teene pounds with in
        one yeare after my death. Thirdly that shee shall pay my daughter Hanna
        Teene pounds within two years after my death. And when she hath paid all
        my debts and legacies the remainder to the benefitt I fiue wholley unto
        my wife as better expressed during her naturall life and I doe make her
        my whole executrix.

        Item 21y. I giue unto my sonne Isaac presently to possesse the old end
        of my dwelling howse and lands in Roxbury: :sonne Isaac my eldest sonne
        a double procon and my son Pelig a single procom."

        Item 31y I give unto my duaghter Mary that I had by my first wife forty
        shillings a yere out of all my lands to be paid by both my sonns that is
        to say my soone Isacke to pay twenty shillings a yere & my sonne Pelig
        twenty shilling a yere during the whole tyme of her natural life and they
        enter on the land and I doe intreate my wife in the meane season to hauve
        a motherly care ouer hir and see yt shee want nothing that is convenient
        for hir.
