2108. Rev. Samuel Hough. Born ca 1621 in Boston, Lincolnshire. Samuel was baptized in Boston, Lincolnshire, on 23 Dec 1621.6 Samuel died in Boston, MA on 30 Mar 1662.6

Samuel “came probably with his father was instructed at Harvard College but not graduated perhaps disgusted at the household economy of Mrs. Eaton, wife of the unlucky head of the Instititution. Ordained 26 Mar 1650, ... was freeman 1651, and died at the house of his brother-in-law Hezekiah Usher, in Boston, 30 Mar 1662. His will of 25 Dec 1657, signed Jan. foll. and again 28 Sept. 1661, to which the day before his death he added codicil, names, beside own wife children and all the brothers and sisters of the Symmes connection calls William Whittingham his nephew but does not allow us to learn how, directs that son Samuel be brought up at college in which his advice was not successful.”25
Samuel married Sarah Symmes, daughter of Rev. Zechariah Symmes (5 Apr 1599-28 Jan 1671) & Sarah Baker (ca 1604-10 Jun 1672). Born ca 1624 in London, England. Sarah died in Reading, MA on 15 Apr 1691.
