Samuel seems to have been a man of great energy and business ability, and left quite a large estate. Inventory £541 10s 11d, which was distributed to his chilren as follows: Samuel, £170, John, £101, Jonathan, £100, Mary, £8o, Elizabeth, £80. They were all minors at the time of his death, and by a provision of his will, were to possess the property as they came of age. Inventory offered in court, Oct 5, 1682. Distribution, 1684. Stephen Hopkins and Thos. Catlin, administrators.
In May 1663 Samuel married Mary Baysey, daughter of John Baysey (-Aug 1671) & Elizabeth Freeman (-Dec 1673), in Hartford, CT. Born say 1643. Mary died bef 29 Sep 1682.
2586.Thomas Burr. Born on 26 Jan 1645 in Hartford, CT.250 Thomas died in Hartford, CT, on 5 Feb 1733; he was 88.
Thomas owned the coveanant of the First Church of Harford on 15 Mar 1695/6 the same day his wife was baptized.91

Thomas owned covenant of 1st Church of Hartford Mch. 15, 1695-6. His wife Sarah Apr. 16, 1693, bapt. same day. Thomas Burr d. 1733. His will dated Apr. 29, 1722, with a codicil May 20, 1731, proved Feb. 5, 1733-4, named above children.
He gave his sons Thomas and Daniel his lands east of the Connecticut River; his undivided lands at New Bantam equally to Thomas, Samuel, and Jonathan.
Thomas married Sarah Speck, daughter of Gerard Speck (-ca 1686) & Mary Purchase. Born say 1655. Sarah was baptized in Hartford, CT, 15 Mar 1695/6.91
2587.Mary Burr. Born on 14 Jan 1641 in Hartford, CT. Mary died aft 1715.
On 15 Jan 1656 when Mary was 15, she first married Christopher Crow in Hartford, CT.250 Christopher died aft 1683. They were separated.
Christopher, of Windsor, freeman of Connecticut 1658.25
Christopher was first at Hartford, then after a few years (by 1668) removed to Windsor, CT; freeman in 1658. Christopher was at Windsor 1668 when he was allowed by the town to have Edward Bartlett “sojourn with him until he had taken off the crop he had sown”; had a farm at Greenfield, in Windsor; left Windsor and was residing (1683) at Hartford; his wife, also left about 1680, leaving behind her 3 young children in a suffering state; the Connecticut ordanance, 11 Dec 1680, that Samuel and Thos. Burr should take inventory of estate, pay debts, and take charge of the children, which had been done by 1684 - Hinman.115
Mary second married Josiah Clark, son of Daniel Clark Esq. (ca 1622-12 Aug 1710) & Mary Newberry (22 Oct 1626-29 Aug 1688). Born on 21 Jan 1648 in Windsor, CT.173 Josiah was baptized on 28 Jan 1648.115
Josiah was the brother of John, Mary's daughter's husband.
2588.Hannah Burr. Born ca 1648 in Hartford, CT. Hannah died in Simsbury, CT in Sep 1684.
In Sep 1681 Hannah married Andrew Hilliard, son of John Hilliard (ca 1601-16 Jul 1655) & Ann [Hilliard], in Simsbury, CT.91 Born on 4 Nov 1646 in Windsor, CT. Andrew died in Simsbury, CT, on 22 Jan 1697; he was 50.
Andrew first married Hannah Burr, second Abigail Drake.
