From the article “William and Dorothy King, of Salem, Mass., and three generations of their Long Island Descendants”:104
    In the settlement of his father’s estate William received a double portion as eldest son and heir; he m. about 1642, Katherine, dau. of Michael Shaflin or Shefflyn of Salem. See Mr. Shaflin's deposition touching this marriage, in Essex Inst. Hist. Coll., Vol. XVI., p. 144.
    William King was grand juror in 1657; in 1659, having attached himself to the sect known as Quakers, he was sentenced by the Court to be imprisoned, fined, to receive 15 lashes, and to be banished from the Colony under penalty of death. The inventory of his estate amounting to £260, 3s., was returned by his widow Katherine, sole executrix, and allowed in Salem Court, 25 Nov., 1684.
William married Katherine Shaflin. Katherine died bef 1 Jan 1718/9.

Katherine, daughter of Michael Shaflin or Shefflyn of Salem. Her will was made 11 Jan 1708/9, and proved 1 Jan 1718/9.104

In 1699 with his wife Elizabeth, John gave a deed to Caleb Buffam, and in 1706 he gave a deed of land in Salem to his son Samuel King.259

The estate of John’s brother William King was divided 18 Jun 1719. One quarter went to Samuel Stone, one quarter to Jacob Manning in right of his wife Sarah, one quarter part to Samuel King of Southold, Long Island, and the remainder one quarter part, and to the heirs of John King. Specifically, 1/16 to son Samuel, 1/16 to son William, 1/16 to the children of deceased son John—namely Samuel King & Mary King both of age, Elizabeth King, Joseph King, Hannah King, & Anns King under age—and 1/16 to children of deceased son Jonathan—namely Jonathan King, Sarah King, Abigail King, Ruth King, William King, John King, & Lydia King.
