The will of Everard Faulkner, 10 Dec 1705, proved 30 July 1707, gave his estate to his wife Elizabeth and children of his brother John Faulkner. The will of Elizabeth Fawkner of Epsom. alias Ebisham, co. Surrey, Widow, made 4 June 1720, proved l July 1720, referred to her deceased husband, Mr. Everard Fawkner; to nephew Thomas Bulkley, now or late Factor at Fort St. Grorge in the East Indies, copyhold land in Epsom and elsewhere; £1000 in stock of the Bank of England, for life to cousin Edward Bulkley, his wife Sarah, and daughter Elizabeth, but if Elizabeth die under twenty-one or before marriage, then to my heir at-law, my brother-in-law William Brudenall and his wife; cousin Ann Barrow daughter of my cousin Thomas Barrow; Mr. Barrow and Mrs. Elizabeth Barrow; various relatives of her husband: “I give and bequeath unto such the children or grandchildren of my uncles Edward Bulkley, Peter Bulkley and Gershom Bulkley late of New England as shall be living at the time of my decease the sum of five hundred pounds sterling,” etc.; my cousin Edward Bulkley and his said wife and daughter to inhabit in my dwelling house in Epsom until my nephew Thomas Bulkley shall arrive in England or my executors have certain advices of his death; residue to my said nephew, then to his child or children; failing such, then £1600 to the Fawkners, £50 apiece to tbe children of Hestcr Vicaridge [a relative through her mother, Anne Trye], and half of the remaining personal estate to the living children and grandchildren of my uncles, Edward, Peter, and Gersham Bulkdey; codicils made 4 Jun and 21 Jun 1720, one provision being that nephew [Thomas] Bulkley shall have what books he pleases for his own use out of my study and the remainder to be disposed of by my executors for some public place or library either in New England or where else they shall think most proper.
