Thomas and Leah settled in Hingham soon after their marriage. Thomas was representative at the General Court from 1721 through 1725; selectman five years dorm 1697 to 1728; also capt. of a military company. they resided at the corner off East and Leavitt Sts.45

His hose was on the lot later occupied by the Agricultural Hall.107
On 10 Jan 1687 when Thomas was 24, he married Leah Buckland, daughter of Benjamin Buckland (27 Feb 1640-26 Mar 1676) & Rachel Wheatly (ca 1643-20 Sep 1713), in Hull, MA.45 Born on 29 May 1668 in Hingham, MA. Leah died in Hingham, MA, on 4 Jan 1759; she was 90.45

    Nathaniel and Susanna were members of the North Brick Church in Boston, and she was manager of the ordination dinner on the occasion of the settlement of Rev. William Waldron. [details omitted]
    Captain Nathaniel Loring was a “coaster,” plying between Boston and Hartford and other Connecticut ports. His vessel in 1703 was the Unity and in 1704 the Dolphin. He was foreman of a jury in Boston in 1722. Was one of the active members of the North Brick Church, chairman of its building committee. Had formerly been in the church of which Rev. Cotton Mather was minister.
    He died December 16, 1744, leaving a will dated July 12, 1723, in which he devised sums of money to the poor and to the ministers of both the churches with which he had been connected, making special request that “Doctor Cotton Mather and his family” be well looked after.
On 13 Dec 1699 when Nathaniel was 29, he married Susanna Butler, daughter of John Butler (ca Jul 1651-) & Susannah Gallup (ca 1653-), in Boston, MA.107 Born on 16 Jan 1680 in Boston, MA. Susanna died in Boston, MA, on 23 Feb 1745; she was 65.107

    He died in 1742, leaving a will, bequeathing his property to his wife and three surviving children; they made a division August 15, 1743.

    Jacob died December 5, 1751. His will, dated February 4, 1749, proved January 21, 1751-2, provided that his wife should have life use of the house and have all of the personal property. His son Jacob to have the home place (subject to his mother's rights); Zechariah to work in the smith's shop till he was twenty-three years of age, and to have one-half of the tools there; the three sons to have the rest of the land, paying £400 to their sister and £60 to their mother.
