In 1710, 93 acres of land were laid out to Thomas and hsi brother Oliver on Wealy Hill, near Cold Harbor, in that part of Marlb oro whic became Westboro, then Northboro. His will directed the distribution of his estate among the most needing and deserving of his relatives.287

Oliver and Hannah “lived for some years in what is now the westerly part of Northborough, Mass., near the head of ‘Cold Harbor’ meadow, on the place afterwards occupied by Jotham Bartlett. In Massachusetts Archives, 71:454, is his damage claim for a horse wounded in a fight with Indians near Lancaster in August 1708. About 1716 he moved to the section which became Westborough in the following year. In 1736 he was a selectman in Grafton, Mass.”287
