Ebenezer Singletary owned a farm of 50 acres lying on the Sudbury river, extending from the fordway south of David Neary’s up the stram above the entrance of Stoney brook; built a house near Charles J. Frost’s; sold 1 Jul 1715 for £160 to Rev. John Swife, and bought, same date, of Joseph Buckminster, “the 50 a. which John Provender leased of said Buckminster,” situated on Dadmun’s Lane. The house stood on the north side of Barton’s brook. He died 1723. Inventory £483,13.
