Jan and Magdaleentje Ecker are 14th and 15th on the member list of the Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church. Jan was the first deacon of the church, ordained in 1697.157
After marriage Jan and Magdalen lived in Tarrytown, on Broadway, just north of Abraham Marling.

Born ca 1662 in Flatbush, Kings County, New York. Wolfert died 1753/4.
Wolffert and Marytie Ecker are 16th and 17th on the member list of the Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church. Wolffert was the second deacon of the church, ordained in 1698.157
Wolfert was a witness at the 1692 baptism of his neice Helena, daugher of Gerrit Jochemszen (his half-brother) & Catharina Cantly.
Wolfert Ecker’s will was dated 1753.
