Martin first Married Anna Hinsdale; second Sarah (Dickinson) Lane, widow of Samuel Lane; and third Sarah (Huxley) (Barlow) Smith, widow of James Barlow and Ebenezer Smith.
Martin resided at Hatfield, Deerfield, and suffield. He was captured with four of his children in French and Indian destruction of Deerfield on 19 Feb 1704 and taken to Canada. His son Jonathan was killed in the raid.
