    John Haven; carpenter; settled at Lynn; came to Fraamingham as early as 1690 with his brother Nathaniel, and build a house on the Joel Coolidge place, now [1887] David Nevins’s. 23 Mar 1693/4 Joseph Buckminster and Joseph White, for £15, leased for 999 years, to John and Nathaniel Haven, 500 acres upland, meadow, and swamp, bounded north by Simon Mellen, west by the Sherborn line, south by the Great meado, and east by the Whitneys, said land being now in the tenure and occupation of said John and Nathaniel, they paying therefor the rent of one Indian corn only per annum on the 1st day of March, if the same shall be demanded of them. John paid £10, and took the northerly two-thirds of the land. He was an original member of the church in Framiningham; selectman; reresentative.
On 3 Oct 1682 when John was 25, he married Hannah Hitchings, daughter of Daniel Hitchings (-15 Apr 1731) & Eleanor [Hitchings] (-10 Sep 1694), in Lynn, MA.227 Born ca 1661.

    Nathaniel Haven came to Framingham with his brother John. He took the southerly one-third of the 500 acres and build a house to the west of Washakum pond, known as the old Park house, later the Charles Morse place; and original member of the Framingham church; selectman.
Nathaniel married Elizabeth Travis, daughter of James Travis (28 Apr 1645-ca 1717) & Mary Pierce (Jul 1650-11 Dec 1744). Born 8 Feb 1667/8 in Gloucester, MA.

Moses first married Mary Ballard, daughter of Nathaniel Ballard (ca 1636-12 Jan 1721/2) & Rebecca Hudson (ca 1640-16 May 1724). Born on 13 Jun 1666 in Lynn, MA.292 Mary died in Framingham, MA, on 18 Nov 1734; she was 68.359
