On 22 Dec 1701 Abigail married Benoni Studley in Scituate, MA.52 Born ca 1671. Benoni died in Hanover, MA on 14 Nov 1746.

    Benoni Studly, of Sandwich, Mass., was in that part of Scituate, now Hanover, and his house, which was built in 1702, is the oldest now [1853] standing in the town, on Hanover Street. He left only a verbal will, drawn up, at his request, by Rev. Mr. Bass, and the same is now in the hands of some of his descendants.

Deane, in his History of Scituate,53 did not identify Benoni’s parents: “There was also a Benoni Studley in Scituate, of another family, whose children, John, Abigail, Joshua, Gideon, Sarah, and Benoni, were born from 1802 to 1723; of this family is Lewis Studley, and several also of Hingham.”

The marriage record for Benoni and Abigall doesn’t mention her surname.52

From The Descendants of Cornet Robert Stetson:284
    Barnabas was non compos mentis and died Dec. 27, 1742. In the settlement of his father’s estate his cousin, Gershom Stetson, was appointed his guardian (Prob. Rec.), but the estate was not divided until after the death of Barnabas in 1742. In 1743 Benoni Studley, son-in-law of John and Abigail, administrator, divided the estate between the only heirs, the two sisters of Barnabas, i.e., Abigail Studley and Honor Hunt.
