Thomas was ordained minister at Rehoboth, MA, (that part later known as Sekonk) in 1693. His will gave his widow one-half of his house and furniture, and his ‘best Bible.’ Th other half was bequeathed to his two surviving daughters Esther and Elizabeth.287
On 28 Dec 1693 when Thomas was 20, he married Elizabeth Wiswall (11486) , daughter of Capt. Noah Wiswall (ca Dec 1638-6 Jul 1690) & Theodosia Jackson (3872) (ca 1643-27 Nov 1725), in Newton, MA. Born on 30 Sep 1668 in Newton, MA.25 Elizabeth died in Weymouth, MA, on 24 Jan 1736; she was 67.287

John was a selectman from 1711 to 1728, representative to the General Court three years, and justice of the peace. For many years practically all the marriages in the town were performed by him.287
In 1695 John first married Hannah Trowbridge, daughter of Dea. James Trowbridge (ca 1636-22 May 1717) & Margaret Atherton (30 Apr 1638-17 Aug 1672), in Newton, MA.287 Born on 15 Jun 1672 in Newton, MA.25 Hannah died in Newton, MA, on 21 Jun 1728; she was 56.287

On 24 Jul 1729 when John was 56, he second married Alice Craft, daughter of Lieut. Samuel Craft (12 Dec 1637-9 Dec 1709) & Elizabeth Seaver (ca 1643-9 Dec 1731), in Roxbury, MA. John, of Newton. Born ca 1681. Alice was baptized in Roxbury, MA CR1, 19 Feb 1681/2.78 Alice died in Holliston, MA in 1783.338

Alice had five husbands: 1st Robert Lovering, 2nd Ephraim Lyon, 3rd John Greenwood, 4th James Shed, and 5th John Winchester.
