25919. Thomas Southworth. Born ca 1718 in Duxbury, MA.33 Thomas died in Readfield, ME on 12 Jan 1805.33

From the Southworth Genealogy:33
    Thomas had not land enough in Duxbury for his boys, so at the close of the Revolutionary War he went to Maine. He negotiated for a piece of land, returned to Duxbury, sold his land, receiving therefor Continental money. He then had a long illness from rheumatic fever. The money depreciated so in value, he was obliged to use much, and when be recovered he had not means with which to pay for the land he had bought in Maine. Afterwards, he with his wife and his sons Constant and Thomas, moved to Readfield, Me. He died there, and afterwards Constant and his mother moved and were in Corinna, Me.
On 26 Nov 1761 Thomas married Anna Hatch (39716) , daughter of Israel Hatch (20276) (5 May 1701-Mar 1772) & Bethiah Thomas (22464) (4 Oct 1705-), in Scituate, MA.52 Born on 27 Nov 1734 in Scituate, MA.52

    ii. Constant Southworth, b. 20 Aug 176, d. 19 Nov 1826 at Corinna, ME, m. 1st a Mr Pettingell, m. 2nd at Plympton, MA, 27 Oct 1785 Lucy Ford, resided at Readfield and Corinna.
    iii. Lydia Southworth, b. 8 Nov 1766, m. 1 Mar 1789 Ezra Briggs Jr of Hanover, MA;
    iv. Hannah Southworth, b. 8 Jan 1769, d. 21 Oct 1790;
    v. Anne Southworth, b. 23 Dec 1774, d. 5 Mar 1857 at Hanover, m. 10 Feb 1793 Curtis Brooks of Hanover (b. 12 Dec 1770, d. 1 Sep 1817, son of Joseph & Lydia Brooks), resided at Hanover;
    vi. Elizabeth Southworth, b. 24 Apr 1773; and
    vii. Thomas Southworth, b. 24 May 1776, m. Annie Welcome, resided at Readfield, later Greene, ME, sailor, spelled surname Southard.33
25920. Obed Southworth. Born on 11 Nov 1736 in Duxbury, MA. Obed died aft 13 May 1761.
In Mar 1758 Obed married Eunice Simmons (45185) , daughter of John Simmons (41156) (22 Apr 1716-10 Dec 1770) & Hopestill Stetson (25882) (21 May 1715-bef 1752), in Kingston, MA. Born 8 Mar 1742/3 in Kingston, MA. Eunice died aft 13 May 1761.
25921. Jasper Southworth. Born on 1 Nov 1738 in Duxbury, MA. Jasper died in Duxbury, MA, on 28 Aug 1776; he was 37.
On 5 May 1763 when Jasper was 24, he married Reumah Southworth (45226) , daughter of William Southworth (25931) (ca 1715-26 Sep 1778) & Mary Fullerton (ca 1719-aft 5 Jun 1761), in Duxbury, MA. Born on 27 Aug 1742 in Duxbury, MA. Reumah died in Duxbury, MA, on 26 Dec 1828; she was 86.
