From the Cummings Memorial about Peletiah Cummings:151
    “In Ipswich he had lived in one-half of the homestead deeded to him by his father until 1757, when he conveyed his title to his brother Joseph, and removed to Topsfield. In 1786 he bought of the Rev. Joseph Cummings his farm in Marlboro.”
