On 20 Nov 1744 Mary married Joseph Cummings (39267) , son of Isaac Cummings (26044) (ca Apr 1692-12 Oct 1761) & Abigail Boardman (19923) (8 Sep 1700-5 Oct 1771), in Ipswich, MA.206 Born 20 Mar 1721/2 in Topsfield, MA.149 Joseph was baptized in Topsfield, MA, in May 1722. Joseph died in Topsfield, MA on 24 Oct 1801.149

Joseph first married Mary Hale (at which time he was of Ipswich), second Judith Perkins, and third Lucy Knowlton.

    “Joseph “had a large estate, having bought up the rights of his grandfather’s heirs. He lived in the west half of his father’s homestead. At the death of his grandmother, 1770, he acquired title of the original 100 acres bequeathed by Ensign Howlet. Elijah was executer of his estate.”
