41845. Helletje Beesly. Born in Philipsburg, Westchester County, New York. Helletje was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 26 Jun 1722.157 Hellitie, dau. of Frenck Beselie & Hellitie his wife, witnesses Herrick Lent & Cornelia his wife.

Johannes and Helletje were second cousins. His paternal grandfather and her maternal grandfather were brothers.

Johannes and Hilletje resided in Philipsburgh, then moved to Hopewell, Dutchess Co., before 1765. Their children include, baptized at Sleepy Hollow:

On 3 Dec 1743 Helletje married Johannis Cranckheyt (37280) , son of Hendrick Cranckheyt (18110) (ca Jun 1682-) & Antje Bankert (ca Mar 1686-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.157 “Johannis Crancheyt, j.m., and Hilletje Beselie, j.d. Both b. and l. in Philips Burgh”. Born ca Aug 1720 in Philipsburg, Westchester County, New York. Johannis was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 31 Aug 1720.157 Joannis, son of Hendreck Krancheyt & wife Antie, witnesses Jan Crancheyt & Catharina Bancke.

Johannis and his sister Maritie were witnesses at the 1739 baptism of their nephew Abraham, son of David & Janitie Fosuur.
