On 31 Aug 1761 when Sarah was 16, she married Samuel Gill (53430) , son of Samuel Gill (36742) (9 Apr 1717-19 Jun 1772) & Rebecca Leavitt (44858) (22 Jun 1720-7 Oct 1744), in Hingham, MA.45 Born ca 1740 in Hingham, MA. Samuel was baptized on 25 May 1740.45 Occupation: wig maker.45

Samuel resided on Pleasant St., Hingham, but late in life removed to Augusta, ME.45

On 29 May 1766 Abigail married Pickels Cushing (52174) , son of Dea. Joseph Cushing (35281) (21 Nov 1711-2 Jan 1767) & Lydia King (35328) (26 Dec 1716-), in Hingham, MA.52 Born on 18 Feb 1743 in Scituate, MA.52 At the age of 1, Pickels was baptized in the Second Church of Scituate, on 19 Feb 1744.335 Pickels died in Scituate, MA, on 15 Mar 1819; he was 76.52

At the time of his marriage, Pickles Cushing built the house upon the main street, in which his son, Pickles, Jr., resided.42

Pickels was a soldier in the Revolutionary War.2
