    Dea. David and his brother William were contractors and built the Meeting House in 1796 at a cost of $3,316.33, the steeple for $330.00. He was appointed on the church committee in 1793 and remained on it until his death. In 1810 he was on the Committee on Supervision of Schools. He was also a doctor in Bangor, Maine, later in life.

    William was appointed on the Church Committee in 1823 and remained until his death. He moved to Rindge, NH, in 1780, and in 1798 purchased a site and established a capacious lumber yard. He was the first to introduce machinery and employ water power. He also had a tan yard on Emerson Pond.
On 28 Oct 1794 William married Sarah Payson, daughter of George Payson & Abigail Boyd.290 Born on 13 Jul 1775.290 Sarah died on 18 Jun 1852; she was 76.290
