(#464) Barrett Phelps, b. Hebron, Ct., 20-22 Sept. 1722, m. Hannah Bigelow, 13 or 15 Feb. 1751. She was b. Colchester, Ct., d. Cambridge, Washington Co., N.Y., 1 June, 1806.
Mr. Phelps first settled in Hebron, Ct., where he resided up to 1766, when he removed to Belcher, N.Y., where he resided about two years, then returning to Hebron, Ct., later in life removing to Cambridge, N. Y., where some of his children had settled, and where he d. in 1789, in his 67th year. He served in the Revolutionary War, drafted in Capt. Skinner’s Co., 25 Aug., discharged 2 Nov. 1777.
