On 15 Sep 1744 William married Lea Conklin (37223) , daughter of Elias Conklin (ca 1693-ca 1739) & Cristina Ecker (18040) (ca 1697-), in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church.157 “Willim Lendt j.m., b. on the Mennaer of Cortlandt, and l. there, and Lea Canckelie, j.d., b. on the Mannaer of Cortlandt, and l. in Philips Burgh”. Born in 1723 in Philipsburg, Westchester County, New York. Lea was baptized in Sleepy Hollow Reformed Church, on 23 Apr 1723.157 Lea and Rahel, children of Elyas Canclie & Crestena his wife, witnesses Herrick Lent &Cornelia his wife, Gerrit Van Weert & Catharina his wife.
