Prince Rogers married, March 21, 1790, Mary Gorham; he died, May 28, 1832, a. 67, and she, June 19, 1835, a. 82; no children.
He witnessed the will of Amos Rogers, Jan’y 21, 1799; he conveyed, April I, 1826, to David Gorham, “all my homestead farm lying in Marshiield, which came to me from Honor’d father, Tim- othy Rogers, deceased ... excepting the mill and mill privilege which I have heretofore disposed of ... reserving to myself and my wife, Mary Rogers, the use ... during our natural lives.” B. CLXXVII, p. 238.
David Gorham sold the farm, Sept. 9, 1834, and described it as the homestead farm of Prince Rogers, which came to him from his father, Timothy Rogers, deceased.
His will, d. Jan’y 28, 1832, p. June 5, 1832, mentions wife Mary; David Gorham; Calvin Hatch Rogers, son of Abijah (who was son of Nathaniel^5 (Israel^4)); Mercy Gorham, daughter of David Gorham; “the widow, Ruth Rogers” (widow of Zaccheus^5); Bethia Rogers, Jr. and Eunice Rogers, singlewomen and daughters of Nathaniel Rogers; Elisha Rogers; Prince Rogers 2nd; Bethia Conant; Hannah Phillips, wife of Jonathan; Elijah Leonard; Lemuel Hall and Hatch Tilden.
