On 20 Feb 1805 when Olive was 19, she married John Doolittle (61949) , son of Ens. Daniel Hezekiah Doolittle (52822) (10 Nov 1741-17 Dec 1808) & Abigail Johnson (61688) (ca 1757-17 Sep 1834). Born on 20 Dec 1783 in New Haven, CT.56 John died on 12 Apr 1813; he was 29.

John was residing in Windham, Greene Co., NY in 1809. He married a Ms Brooks.55 “John probably settled in Vermont and his name appears on the petition to the legislature with his brother Isaac’s in Oct., 1828. He married a daughter of David Brooks, of Wallingford and may have resided there for a time.”358
