William’s Michigan State Death Certifcate states that his father was Warren Monroe and his mother Nancy Gould. No birthplaces are given for either of them. He was 70 years old and was born on November 11, 1832. He died on March 3, 1913 in Sciota Township, Shiawassee County, and was buried in Laingsburg on March 5. He was a widower. Cause of death was paralysis of the heart. He was a farmer when he died. The certificate also listed his middle name as “Richardson.” Informant Mrs. Wert. Hubbard died of exhaustion on 26 July 1898 in Genoa Township. She was 63, born in Portage County, Ohio, a widow and had had three children, two of whom are still living. Her father was Warren Monroe and her mother, unknown. She was buried on July 28th in Chilson Cemetery in Genoa Township. Goodrich and Son were the undertakers.
