For many years Sarah lived in the family of John and Electa Bacon of Taylor, Cortland County, and she was buried in the same plot as them in the Cincinnatus Cemetery. In one census she was called cousin.

It’s not clear how she’s related to John and Electa, but probably through her mother Freelove.
