Rolland D. Snare

    ADA - Rolland D. Snare, 78, or here, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday in Lima Memorial Hoapital following a short illness.
    Born July 17, 1895, in Union County, he was the son of George and Viola Chambers Snare. His wife, the former Carey Harding, whom he married April 24, 1917, survives.
    Also surviving are three sons, Rev. Francis L. of Wellston, R. Eugene of Bluffton and Ernest A. of West Columbus, S.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Dana (Annabelle) Banning of Delaware, Mrs. Cledith (Virginia) Long of Fostoria and Mrs. Floyd (Miriam) Snider of Cridersville; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Russell, a twin, and Willis, both of Mrion, and one sister, Mrs. Mabel Shirk of Richwood, Ohio.
    Mr. Snare was a member of Ada First Baptist Church, serving as a deacon 40 years.
    Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the church, Rev. Ray Shepard officiating. burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery here.
    Friends may call at the Basinger Funeral Home, Bluffton, 7 to 9 p.m. The body will be taken to the church the hour before services Wednesday.
    Arrangements were under the direction of Kenneth W. Preston, Ada funeral director.
