Ulysses Grubaugh dies at Home at Galion
    Ulysses Grubaugh died of pleural pneumonia at his home, No. 228 Clymer Avenue, Galion, Friday morning at 2:15 o'clock. He had been ill for five weeks.
    Mr. Grubaugh was a son of David and Ira Grubaugh and was born at Ashland August 15, 1885. He went to Galion with his parents 30 yrs ago. In 1912 he was married to Miss Edna Sickmiller, who survives with three children, Charles, Helen and William. He also is survived by his mother, Mrs. David Grubaugh, of Galion; one sister, Mrs. Bert Rudd, of Cleveland, and four brothers, Tulley Grubaugh, of Mansfield, Ralph, Howard and Eugene Grubaugh, of Galion. He was a member of the First Reformed Chruch of Galion.

    Mrs. Edna Marie (Sickmiller) Grubaugh, 88, of Galion died at 6:15 p.m. Friday in Galion Nursing Home. Her husband, Ulysses, died in November, 1923.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ, its Dorcas Circle and Galion Golden Age Club.
    Surviving are 2 sons, Charles and William of Galion, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Grosso of Mansfield and 2 grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Snyder and Kubach Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Tulley Grubaugh Dies after Brief Illness
    Tulley Grubaugh, 76, of 164 South Diamond Street, died unexpectedly this morning at General Hospital after becoming ill Wednesday evening.
    Born March 13, 1887, in Ashland, he lived most of his life in Mansfield. He was a retired interior decorator and a member of the First English Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Eich Grubaugh; one daughter, Mrs. William H. Copeland, 460 Midland Drive; a granddaughter, Eleanor Copeland; and two brothers, Ralph and Howard Grubaugh, both of Galion.
    The body was removed to the Wappner Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday at 9:30 am., conducted by the Rev. Harold L. Konz, pastor of the St. John's United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery.

Obituary
    Mrs. Grace Erickson Grubaugh died Friday afternoon at 3:30, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Erickson Spell, 230 South Pierce Street, aged 26 years and 13 days. Death was due to tuberculosis. The funeral will be held at the First Lutheran Church, at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, and the services will be conducted by Rev. Kohler of Mansfield. Interment will be at Fairview.
    Grace Erickson was born in this city, June 14, 1887, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lock Erickson. She attended the public schools until some years ago when she began service with the Sun-Review Printing Company, continuing with that concern until it passed into other hands, when she started work in the Commercial Printing establishment. She was industrious and faithful and enjoyed the high esteem of her employers. May 11, 1912, she was united in marriage to Tulley Grubaugh of this city, the couple going to housekeeping on Fourth Street in Mansfield where the husband was employed. Two months ago, on account of failing health, she came back to Galion and lived with her mother until death called her to a brighter home.
    The deceased was a member of the First Lutheran Church of this city, was active in the Sunday School and all the social work of the church. She was an exemplary Christian and passed away safe in the arms of her blessed redeemer. She was a loving and faithful wife, a devoted daughter and sister and a friend who always exemplified her sweet graces and womanly virtues. Her father preceded her to eternity a number of years ago and she is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mary Spell, three brothers, Gaylord, now in Denver, Linas and Harry of Steam Corners, and two sisters, Mrs. May Berger, East Church street, this city, and Mrs. Retta Smith, of North Robinson.
    One child, born to the deceased ten days ago, died in infancy.

Mrs. Grubaugh
    Mrs. Anna M. Grubaugh, 82, formerly of 164 South Diamond St., widow of Tulley Grubaugh, died Wednesday in the Winchester Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
    She was born Dec. 23, 1889 in Mansfield and lived here all her life. Mrs. Grubaugh was a member of the First English Lutheran Church.
    Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William (Mary Lou) Copeland of 460 Midland Drive; one granddaughter, a number of nieces and nephews and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Keil of Mansfield.
    Services will be held at the Wappner Funeral Home Saturday at 9:30 am in charge of the Rev. Walter E. Weber, visitation minister of the First English Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Mansfield cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3-4 and 7-9 pm.

    Mrs. Cora Mae Grubaugh Rudd, 62, of 4613 Bucyrus Ave, Cleveland, died Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the home of her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grubaugh, 1140 Harding Way East, Galion. Mrs. Rudd had been ill for several months, and had lived alone in Cleveland since her husband's death two months ago. Last Sunday she was brought to Galion when she became very ill. She had been bedfast one week. A native of Ashland, Mrs. Rudd was born March 6, 1891. Her husband, Albert Rudd, died Nov. 5, 1953 in Cleveland. Surviving are one son, Joel William Rudd, of Austin, TX and three brothers, Ralph and Howard Grubaugh, Galion, and Tulley Grubaugh, Mansfield. Mrs. Rudd lived in Cleveland for 37 years, going there from Galion. She attended Galion schools and before her marriage was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Galion.

Galion - The children of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grubaugh will hold a family dinner at the Arlie Glenn Inn this evening to celebrate their parents' golden wedding anniversary.
The celebrants were married on Aug. 4, 1914, by Rev. D. C. Burnite, then paster of the First Lutheran Church. Mrs. Grubaugh also is celecrating her 69th birthday on the same date.
Mrs. Grubaugh is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Weber, and her husband the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Grubaugh. Their family includes four children, Ralph, Jr., Robert and Mrs. Eugene Reindl of Galion and Mrs. Bill Ricker of Bucyrus; 18 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
At the time of his retirement, Mr. Grubaugh worked at the Galion Iron Works. Since retirement he and his wife have operated a saw sharpening shop in the basement of their home. They are members of First Lutheran Church. Both are in good health.
    The couple actually celebrated another 18 years together before Edith died in 1982.
    Ralph died on 5 Aug 1983 in Galion and was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Galion.

Mr. Grubaugh, an employee of Galion Manufacturing Co., for over 25 years, died Saturday at 5:33 p.m. in Galion Community Hospital. He was a member of his company’s 25 Year Club and First Lutheran Church. Born in Galion, Aug. 12, 1901, he was the son of David and Ida (Brothers) Grubaugh. Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Hinkle; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Stroup, Galion; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a brother, Ralph Grubaugh Sr., Galion. A sister and two brothers are deceased.
    Calling hours will be observed today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Richard Shibley will officiate at the funeral with interment to follow Crawford County Memory Gardens.

Riblet St., did this morning at Galion Community Hospital.Born in Ashland on Aug. 14, 1903, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Jennie (Ader) Hinkle.On June 23, 1928, she married Howard Grubaugh, who preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1979.A Galion resident most of her life, Mrs. Grubaugh had been a telephone operator.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church.Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Stroup of Galion; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; a brother, Clifford Hinkle; and a sister, Gladys Keiser of Shelby.  A brother preceded her in death.
    Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home of Galion.  Private graveside services will be conducted Monday at Crawford County Memory Gardens by the Rev.     Funeral service for Eugene David Grubaugh, 29, of Galion, were held this afternoon at the Grubaugh home, 145 South street. Rev. H. R. Merle, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, was assisted by Rev. O. E. Knepp of the United Brethern Church. Interment was made in the Fairview Cemetery.
    Grubaugh, who was a talented musician and had been employed at the Galion Iron Works & Mfg. company until his recent illness, died Friday night at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ida Grubaugh of South street. He had been ill for several months and complications caused his death.
    He was born in Galion, Mar. 21, 1908, the son of David and Ida Grubaugh. His marriage was to Margaret Lucille Hill on June 27, 1933.
    Survivors are his wife, his mother, three brothers and a sister. Tully Grubaugh of Mansfield, Ralph and Howard of Galion and Mrs. Mae Rudd of Cleveland.
